Objective and Scope:
The client, a consulting firm, is working with one of the GCC countries’ ministries, and wanted Benori’s support to assess and benchmark best practices for facilitating food truck operations, including mobility across locations and business expansion. The request included:
- Identifying and studying laws and regulations of selected city councils in four countries from the perspective of facilitating food truck mobility
- Analyzing rules and regulations for food truck business expansion and scaling of operations
Approach:
We identified four countries based on their rankings on the ease of starting food truck operations. Further, one city council from each selected country was determined based on its regulations that allow the mobility of food trucks and freedom to scale operations. Also, we analyzed these laws and regulations to limit the mobility of food trucks and identify locations for operations and practices to support business expansion and scaling.
